Cyanotypes of British algae

Following up on last week's photography first, these works by Anna Atkins (1799-1871) are from "the first photographic work by a woman, and the first book produced entirely by photographic means" - via New York Public Library Digital Gallery.

I think blueprint blue must be one of my favorite colors.
